Israel strikes Iranian ballistic missile production site with explosions heard in Tehran
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have struck another petrochemical facility in Iran.
According to the IDF, the targeted site near Shiraz was one of the few complexes in Iran producing explosives and key chemical components for ballistic missiles.
The strike reportedly caused “significant damage to the regime’s military capabilities,” according to IDF sources.
At the same time, powerful explosions were heard in Tehran. The sounds were reported across several districts of the Iranian capital, including the south, central, and western areas. Reports indicate that US and Israeli air forces are carrying out a large-scale aerial operation over Tehran.
In some districts of Tehran, air defense systems have been activated.
