Conflict damages to Iran to be compensated, Fars writes
Damages incurred by Iran during the conflict with the US and Israel will be compensated through a specially created investment fund, Fars writes, citing a source familiar with the full text of the ceasefire conditions presented by Tehran.
“The program defining the final framework of the ceasefire includes the following points: damage compensation and the establishment of a national investment fund,” the report said.
No details have yet been provided regarding the structure or management of this fund.
According to the agency, Iran intends to charge fees for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz in the future, with part of the proceeds being used for restoration projects of facilities damaged during the conflict.
