Turkey condemns Israeli attacks on Lebanon
Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned Israel’s increasingly intensive strikes on Lebanon, stating that they are causing numerous casualties. In its statement, the ministry stated that even under the conditions of a temporary ceasefire, the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues to undermine international efforts aimed at peace and stability, according to Ermenihaber.
In addition, Ankara reaffirmed its support for Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, noting that the actions are worsening the already severe humanitarian situation in the country. Turkey’s foreign ministry also called on the international community to take immediate steps to halt the hostilities and protect civilians.
