Officials in the US administration are reportedly considering three possible scenarios.
- US officials also believe that the likelihood of regime change in the Islamic Republic has increased following the ceasefire.
- In addition, the US administration assesses that some Iranian leaders may be open to supporting Washington’s proposals.
- Under a third scenario, the IRGC could allegedly attempt to break the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz or launch further strikes in order to force additional concessions from the United States.
