An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale has occurred not far from Tbilisi, the Seismic Monitoring Centre of Georgia reports.
Tremors were recorded at 8:58 a.m. local time on Dec. 30, 53 kilometers from the capital of Georgia, near the city of Bolnisi.
The epicenter was located at a depth of 6 kilometers. No damage to buildings has been reported.
