Over 780 lose contact with outside world after earthquake in Japan
More than 780 people have lost contact with the outside world after the earthquake in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshimasa Hayashi said this at a press conference in Tokyo.
According to the latest figures, 92 people have died, 464 have been injured in the earthquake.
Four thousand six hundred members of the Japan Self-Defense Forces are involved in the search and rescue operations.
