Zelenskyy: Ukraine is striving to acquire the best weapons in the world

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that Europe should create a unified arms industry. According to him, it is only this that can “keep Europe militarily safe from Russia”, kommersant.ru writes.

Zelenskyy also noted that Russia is waging a “hybrid war” against a “significant” part of Europe.

“However, Russian aggression can be defeated. But unity is needed to teach Russia a lesson,” he said at the Swedish “Society and Defense” conference adding that Ukraine is striving to acquire the best weapons in the world to ensure its partners’ and its own security.

“Ukraine is and will be one of Europe’s most significant security donors,” he said.
