Russian Deputy Foreign Minister: A ceasefire agreement with Ukraine is not expected in 2024
A ceasefire agreement with the authorities of Ukraine is not
expected in 2024. Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergei Ryabkov said this.
As Ryabkov noted, it is likely that the military conflict in
Ukraine will end not with the conclusion of a peace treaty, but with the
achievement of all the goals of the Russian special military operation.
“I do not expect a ceasefire. Moreover, I expect that the
goals of the special military operation will be achieved,” Ryabkov said.
The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister also does not imagine
that the U.S. will try to “force” Ukraine into signing a ceasefire agreement
with Russia.
