Kosachev: The dynamics of relations between Armenia and Russia still seem to be negative

Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federation Council of Russia Konstantin Kosachev talked about the relations between Armenia and Russia on Radio Sputnik.

Kosachev particularly noted: “The dynamics of relations with Armenia are certainly negative. Everything is clear to the naked eye. The current leadership of Armenia is distancing the country as far away from Russia as possible… However, I think that is still a temporary scenario for our neighbors, because without good and neighborly relations with Russia, the situation will be rather difficult for Armenia, to put it mildly. Hopes that Armenia will be protected by its new Western friends seem rather illusory to me.”
