Russian ambassador to Israel: Moscow hopes that Russian citizens will be soon released from Hamas hostage

Moscow will continue efforts to secure the release of the
Russian citizens still held captive by the Palestinian radical Hamas movement.
As TASS reports, Russian Ambassador to Israel Anatoly Viktorov said this.

“We will continue our efforts. As for our citizens, a few
are still left. There is hope that they will be released in the near future,”
the diplomat said.

Earlier, Taher Nunu, the spokesman for Chairman of the Hamas
Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh, told TASS that Hamas had released the hostage
with Russian citizenship, handing him over to the delegates of the
International Committee of the Red Cross. Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson
Maria Zakharova, in turn, told TASS that Ron Krivoy was released within a
separate deal, thanks to the efforts of Russian diplomats.
