Alen Simonyan announced the need to change the state coat of arms and anthem.
The methods of changing national symbols should be flexible; amendments and changes should be regularly made, but before that the authorities need to be changed, according to historian Hayk Demoyan. And what regards “Mount Ararat and Noah’s Ark, and the lions that can no longer be found in Armenia”, this, according to the historian, points to the authorities’ rudimentary scientific knowledge.
