U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland announced after her visit to Kyiv that Moscow should expect “surprises” on the battlefield.
“Tonight I am leaving Kyiv more encouraged about unity and resolve, about 2024 and its absolute strategic importance for Ukraine. I am also sure that as Ukraine strengthens its defenses, Putin is going to get some nice surprises on the battlefield, and Ukraine will make some very strong success. We continue to provide security support in all categories, including new investments and new weapons systems,” Nuland said.
According to her, Ukraine has “caused serious damage to Putin’s ground forces”.
Earlier, Nuland was in Turkey on an official visit. There she attended the meeting within the framework of the U.S.-Turkey strategic mechanism.
