State Department: Blinken will travel to the Middle East countries
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will travel to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Israel, and the West Bank from Feb. 4 to Feb. 8. This is going to be his fifth trip to the region since the Oct. 7 Hamas attack against Israel. Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State Matthew Miller said this.
“The Secretary will continue diplomatic efforts to reach an agreement that secures the release of all remaining hostages and includes a humanitarian pause which will allow stable and expanded delivery of humanitarian aid to the civilian population of Gaza,” Miller said.
