Officers plotting coup in Sudan arrested

The intelligence service of the Sudanese Armed Forces has arrested several officers on a charge of planning a coup, Al Sudani newspaper reports, citing its sources.

According to these sources, those arrested serve in the operative department of the city of Omdurman. As noted, among those accused of a coup attempt, there are a colonel, a lieutenant colonel and a major.
