He was born in the Armenian city of Akhaltsikhe, but was engaged in enlivening the culture of an entire nation. He danced, sang and fought for the homeland. To familiarize generations with their folk dance traditions, he conducted dance classes in the center of Yerevan. Gagik Ginosyan ate, slept and breathed everything that was national — everything that was Armenian. And he left as befitted Ginosyan: as he said, despising death.
