He who enlivened folk dances and served his homeland: Gagik Ginosyan
He was born in the Armenian city of Akhaltsikhe, but was engaged in enlivening the culture of an entire nation. He danced, sang and fought for the homeland. To familiarize generations with their folk dance traditions, he conducted dance classes in the center of Yerevan. Gagik Ginosyan ate, slept and breathed everything that was national — everything that was Armenian. And he left as befitted Ginosyan: as he said, despising death. Gagik Ginosyan, the preserver of folk dance traditions, died at the age of 58. Details in the report:
