Erdogan: Keeping silent about genocide suggests heavy consequences; History will be their judge

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned Israel for its actions in the city of Rafah, calling them an “inhumane act” that has become usual business for Israel.

Erdogan said this on the plane in a conversation with media representatives; he referred to other international issues as well.

“We have already said that we cannot compromise people’s safety. Imagine a situation when you tell civilians, “Go there! It’s safe there.” Then you bomb that area. Is this in line with human values, military law, international law, or human rights? Humanity has to heed this cry as soon as possible. Keeping silent about genocide suggests heavy responsibility and consequences. History will judge those who turn a blind eye to the overt murder of these people. Those who put their signatures to this genocide have already been declared guilty before history,” the Turkish president said.
