Israel releases names of 300 Palestinians to be released in exchange for hostages
Israel has released a list of 300 Palestinian prisoners to
be released in exchange for Israeli hostages, The Times of Israel reports.
As agreed, Israel will release up to 150 prisoners in
exchange for up to 50 hostages in the first four days, with more to be released
if further hostages are set free.
Two hundred and eighty-seven of the 300 prisoners are males
aged 18 and under. The other 13 prisoners are adult women, most of them
convicted of attempted terrorist attacks.
