The U.K. has imposed a total ban on the use of mobile phones in schools, The Times reports.
Teachers will be allowed to search students’ bags as part of the phone ban.
Hereby, an attempt is made to improve students’ behavior at school.
Students who defy the ban, can be detained at school, and their phones can be confiscated for as long as the school principal finds it necessary.
