The Armenian men’s chess team has won a bronze medal in the
European Team Championship, the Chess Federation of Armenia reports.
In the final round, Shant Sargsyan, playing with black
pieces, notched up victory over Michael Adams. The rest of the team’s matches
ended in a draw.
Thus, the Armenian team won a bronze, beating the English
team 2.5-1.5. We would like to express our congratulations to the Armenian
team, wishing them new victories.
