Iranian president calls on 50 leaders to pressure Israel
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has sent letters to the
leaders of 50 countries, calling on them to pressure Israel into ceasing
hostilities in the Gaza Strip, Tasnim reports.
According to Tasnim, Raisi’s letter was addressed, among
others, to the presidents of Russia and China, as well as to those of the
leaders of Jordan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Kenya and the Republic of South Africa.
Raisi called on the recipients of the letter for unity, so
that they can make Israel declare a ceasefire in Gaza.
