China should comprehensively strengthen its military training program and combat readiness in 2024, according to the country’s social and economic development plan, released on Tuesday.
“We need to comprehensively strengthen our military training program and combat readiness based on joint planning, to actively conduct military training through military simulations and to resolutely protect the sovereignty, security and development interests of our state,” reads the plan.
