Medvedev calls for expelling those EU ambassadors who refused to meet with Lavrov

Those EU ambassadors who have refused to meet with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov before the presidential elections in Russia should be expelled from the country, and the level of diplomatic relations with their countries should be lowered. Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev made an X post on this.

On Monday, Lavrov noted that he had recently invited the EU ambassadors for a conversation before the elections, but they had called off the meeting two days before.

“In reality, all these ambassadors should be kicked out of Russia, and the level of diplomatic relations should be demoted. These are not ambassadors, but political imbeciles who do not comprehend their real tasks,” Medvedev wrote.
