Lavrov: Everything is now openly being set so that the fate of Ukraine will befall Moldova

Since the start of the post-Soviet period, the West has begun to interfere in the relations between Russia and its neighbors. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said this at the World Youth Festival in Sochi.

The principle of “Divide and conquer” has always been in line with the radical interests of the West. So far, they have been pursuing the same policy, and this holds true both for Central Asia and the South Caucasus, especially with regard to our Armenian friends, and the European regions of the former USSR, i.e., Ukraine and Moldova,” Lavrov said, noting that everything is now openly being set so that the fate of Ukraine will befall Moldova.
