As a gesture of goodwill, the National Security Service of Armenia handed over to Azerbaijan the Azerbaijani serviceman who had violated the Armenian-Azerbaijani border a few days ago. In connection with the incident, the RA Investigative Committee has brought criminal proceedings under the relevant articles of the RA Criminal Code. The investigation revealed that the serviceman of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, who had crossed the state border of the Republic of Armenia, ended up near the positions of the Armed Forces of Armenia as a result of fleeing and getting lost after an incident between servicemen in an Azerbaijani military position.
