“West Azerbaijan Research Center” has opened at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University. What is striking here is that the map of so-called “Western Azerbaijan” includes the entire territory of Armenia. The officials who were present at the opening ceremony kept insisting that “Western Azerbaijan is an integral part of the homeland” and “one of the new goals” of the Azerbaijani state and nation.
