Member of Parliament: Azerbaijan obviously has territorial claims from Armenia

Considering the negotiation process between Armenia and
Azerbaijan within the past 3 years, we can state that Azerbaijan fails to
fulfill its obligations and promises, thus drawing a negative response from the
U.S. as well. Secretary of the NA With Honor Faction Tigran Abrahamyan said
this at the National Assembly briefing.

According to the statement issued by the Azerbaijani
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this is the reason why Azerbaijan refused to
attend the meeting to be held in Washington.

Abrahamyan noted that Azerbaijan avoids taking practical
steps in its negotiations with Armenia. Baku is now reassessing its
opportunities as well as its balance of power.

“Azerbaijan obviously has territorial claims from Armenia.
Recently, the so-called “enclaves” have been actively discussed. I am talking
about the eight villages, which are claimed to be occupied by Armenia. At this
stage, Baku may bide its time until a favorable opportunity opens up to launch
hostilities in a specific direction,” Abrahamyan said.
