French President Emmanuel Macron and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk will meet German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on March 15 in Berlin to discuss the situation in Ukraine, Politico reports, citing its sources.
As noted, the French and German leaders will have a bilateral meeting around noon. Afterward, they will be joined by the Polish prime minister. Politico writes that this is going to be the first meeting of the “Weimar Triangle,” a dialogue format between the three countries, since Tusk came to office.
According to the source, the meeting is aimed at showing the unity of the leaders in working on the Ukrainian issue amid the news about the increase in disagreements. Adoption of a document or a statement on certain agreements is not planned.
