Russian Foreign Ministry bans former US ambassador to Russia from entering country
Another 227 U.S. citizens have been banned from entering Russia. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the ban applies to those who are involved in the anti-Russian policy of the U.S.
Former U.S. Ambassador to Russia John J. Sullivan has also been put on the list.
“The expansion of the list aims to show the U.S. that no aggressive action against Russia will go unpunished, and they will receive a decisive counterattack,” reads the statement.
