A man was arrested in Azerbaijan who was planning to kill the mayor of Lankaran city, the State Security Service of Azerbaijan says. As reported, the arrested citizen ordered an assassination attempt on foreign citizens teaching English in some regions of Azerbaijan. Visitors of the Deniz Mall shopping center in Baku were evacuated. According to the local media, the fire alarm system failed due to technical problems, which is why the alarm went off.
