Homeland, which they disavow: Voskepar

This is the Holy Mother of God Church, the birth certificate of the village of Voskepar, founded in the 6th-7th centuries. The church’s wall is already serving as a state border and protects the village from enemies. Historical and cultural monuments from different periods prove that it has been an Armenian settlement since the early Middle Ages. Most of them date back to the 13th century, such as Aghjka Berd, Berdavank and the ancient bridge of Voskepar. Moreover, these monuments are located in the village of Verin Voskepar, which Azerbaijan wants to take, in spite of the fact that the Azerbaijani presence in these villages was highly artificial.
