Since the start of the Israeli military operation in the Gaza Strip, the number of Palestinians killed has exceeded 32,500, and almost 75,000 people have been injured. The Palestinian Ministry of Health gave the figures on its Telegram channel.
“Since October 2023, the death toll from the Israeli aggression against Gaza has reached 32,552; at least 74,980 people have been injured,” reads the post.
The ministry noted that “in the last 24 hours, 62 people have been killed, and 91 have been injured in the enclave”.
Some of the bodies are under the rubble; doctors and the ambulance crew have not managed to retrieve them yet.
