ARF Belgian Committee boycotts meeting with Zareh Sinanyan

The Committee of Belgian Armenians arranged a meeting
between the community representatives and High Commissioner of Diaspora Affairs
of Armenia Zareh Sinanyan. The meeting was scheduled for Nov. 11.

The ARF Belgian Committee and all its affiliated organizations
have refused to attend the meeting on the grounds of Sinanyan’s anti-national
activities.

“Since the day of his appointment, this official of the RA
Government has taken a strong anti-national stance, has made great efforts to
undermine the role of traditional national organizations in the Diaspora by
putting up new figures as representatives of communities instead of
long-standing powerful organizations,” the ARF Belgian Committee noted.
