Yerevan continues to expect a political statement from the CSTO on the Azerbaijani occupation of the sovereign territories of Armenia, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan said at a press briefing.
“The borders of the Republic of Armenia are very clear; it is clear what the sovereign borders of Armenia are. What is debatable here is whether the CSTO Secretariat is authorized to make such a statement on behalf of the countries. Our position has not changed, and we expect that the CSTO will give a political statement on the fact that the sovereign territories of Armenia have been occupied, particularly since September 2022,” Kostanyan said.
