A fire broke out in the industrial area of Ankara’s Yenimahalle district, in the area where car tires and waste were kept. The fire spread quickly because of the wind, and thick smoke filled the air; two cars parked next to the warehouse were burnt. So far, there have been no reports on victims.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken had a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. According to the Azerbaijani media, Blinken told Aliyev that the April 5 meeting in Brussels between the Armenian prime minister, the U.S. secretary of state and the president of the European Commission is not directed against Azerbaijan and is going to center on Armenia’s economic development.
