Iran’s supreme leader: Israel must be punished and will definitely be punished 

Israel made a mistake when it attacked the Iranian consulate in Syria in early April, and it will be punished for that, Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatollah Khomeini said.

“The vicious regime made a mistake and must be punished; it will definitely be punished,” Ayatollah Khomeini said.

The supreme leader of Iran noted that consulates and embassies, regardless of where they are located, are considered the territory of a foreign state.

“When they attacked our consulate, they attacked our territory,” he added.
