The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have announced that they
have made air strikes on Syria in retaliation for the drone attack on a school
in Eilat.
The IDF noted that the strike was aimed at the organization
that had launched the drone. However, they have not mentioned who was behind
the attack, what the location of the drone launch was, or who was the exact
target of the retaliatory strikes.
“The Syrian regime bears full responsibility for all
terrorist activities carried out from the territory of Syria. The Israel
Defense Forces will adversely respond to any attempt to cause damage in the
territory of the State of Israel,” reads the statement issued by the Israel
Defense Forces.
