Roads in Syunik have changed; their role has changed. The highway simply ends at some point, or rather, the border guards stop the cars. It is only the direction signs that remind us of our former life, when all roads used to lead to Stepanakert.
If you continue on the road through Kornidzor or Tegh, border guards will stop you soon. Then they will ask you to delete the photos that you have taken, and you will be left with the view in your mind of the roads and tunnels the Azerbaijanis are building. Work is in full swing under the nose of the Armenian border guards.
