Union of Armenians in Russia: Ceding border villages to the enemy has nothing to do with the peace agenda

The Union of Armenians in Russia has condemned the media persecution organized in Armenia against Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, as well as the use of force and the campaign of intimidation against the residents of Armenian border villages, who are standing for their right to have a homeland.

“What is going on about the four border villages, which the Armenian authorities have unconditionally decided to cede to the enemy, has nothing to do with the peace agenda, despite the manipulative statements made by the Armenian authorities. Contrary to Pashinyan’s assurances, the loss of Artsakh has not brought about peace. His desire to please Aliyev in every possible way—devaluing the acts of heroism and memory of those who laid down their lives for the freedom and independence of our homeland—has not stopped Azerbaijan from further occupation of Armenian territories,” the union said in a statement, adding that this is another manipulation and falsehood, which is going to be followed by new humiliating concessions, losses and war.
