Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is on an official visit to Moscow, the press service of the Azerbaijani president reports.
The visit has been arranged at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin and other officials welcomed Ilham Aliyev at the Moscow airport.
As the Kremlin press service reported earlier, as part of the visit, Aliyev will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin. They are planning to discuss the key issues regarding the Russian-Azerbaijani strategic partnership and the further development of allied relations.
