Propaganda bubbles that burst with Nov. 9 defeat

On the very first day of the war, propaganda theses pour
down like a barrage of rockets and shells. Only a few hours after the outbreak
of war, the man in the driving seat of the country began to talk about defeat
at the National Assembly and kept claiming that we would in no way consider
ourselves defeated.

Arayik Harutyunyan’s famous video and Artsrun Hovhannisyan’s
hashtag #We’ll_Win spread through the media. The more the situation on the
battlefield deteriorated, the more diverse propaganda theses and messages
became. While the enemy had already broken through our lines in the south,
people in Yerevan were talking about liberating Getashen and Shahumyan.
