People close Yerevan-Gyumri highway

The wave of protest seems to be finally going beyond the borders of Tavush. People have blocked the highway from Yerevan to Gyumri at the Horom junction in Shirak Province in support of our compatriots protesting in Tavush. MP Kristine Vardanyan from the opposing NA Armenia Alliance wrote this.

“This road is also part of the alternative road to the Armenia-Georgia highway.

Let me remind you that the main road has been closed in the Kirants section for days now.

MP Mher Melkonyan is with the protesters,” Vardanyan wrote.
