Pentagon: The numbers of civilian casualties in Gaza are in the thousands

The Pentagon Press Secretary said that the U.S. knows that
thousands of civilian casualties have been recorded in Gaza. However, they do
not have a specific number of the casualties. 

“The numbers of civilian casualties in Gaza are in the
thousands,” Pentagon Press Secretary Patrick S. Ryder said. 

On Monday, the Ministry of Health of Gaza reported that the
number was over 10,000. 

The authenticity of this statement cannot be checked now, as
Hamas strictly controls the flow of information in the area under its control.
