Putin proposes Mikhail Mishustin as Russian prime minister
Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed that Mikhail Mishustin be reappointed as prime minister. Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin said this in a Telegram post.
“President Vladimir Putin submitted a proposal to the State Duma regarding the candidacy of Mikhail Mishustin for prime minister,” Volodin wrote.
Immediately after Putin’s inauguration, the Cabinet of Ministers led by Mishustin resigned. The prime minister’s candidacy will be approved at today’s plenary session of the State Duma.
