Russian experts say there are too many people dissatisfied with Pashinyan and his actions
Pashinyan is used to fighting for power until the end, Russian analyst Stanislav Pritchin told TASS.
According to the expert, Pashinyan’s main goal is to be at the helm.
“The loss of power entails serious risks for him. Thus, he will fight to the bitter end,” Pritchin noted. According to him, the consolidation of the protesting forces, the unification of the Opposition and the mass demonstrations show that there are too many people dissatisfied with Pashinyan and his actions.
With regard to the protests in Armenia, Andrey Areshev, an expert on South Caucasus issues, told Izvestiya that the engagement of the clergy in the current public outrage is connected, first, with the failure of any form of political protest and the discrediting of Opposition parties.
“At the same time, experts understand that the present authorities of Armenia are working in full agreement with Baku,” Areshev noted.
