Vardan Oskanyan: The answer to “Who will come after Pashinyan?” is clear: Archbishop Bagrat
The current movement obviously enjoys great popular support. Former Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan said this in a Facebook post.
According to him, the society is divided into several groups.
“Perhaps a small group supports Pashinyan. This is the group that is complicit in Pashinyan’s erroneous policy and all the disasters that have struck our people, or these are the people who are very close to the authorities,” Oskanyan said.
According to him, the overwhelming majority of people now really want a change, and there can be no second opinion about this. Oskanyan notes that those demanding a change are, in turn, divided into two groups.
“There is a group that just wants Pashinyan to leave, and it is not important for them who will come next and what the consequences may be because they think it cannot be worse than this. But there are people—being quite a large group—who want Pashinyan to leave, who want to have a new leadership, but they have certain reservations,” Oskanyan said.
According to him, the answer to “Who will come next?” is clear, and that person is Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, who shows people that he has the necessary skills.
