German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock is on an unannounced visit to Kyiv, the dpa news agency reports, referring to its reporter accompanying Baerbock during her trip.
“Ukraine urgently needs to strengthen its air defense,” she said.
According to the official, an additional €1 billion has been collected by a German initiative aiming to step up Ukraine’s air defense. “And we work every day to increase that amount,” Baerbock noted.
