Commenting on the plane crash involving Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State Matthew Miller said that the Iranian authorities themselves are to blame for flying a helicopter, which has been in use for 45 years, in poor weather conditions, RIA Novosti writes.
At a press briefing, Miller noted that it’s the Iranian government that is “responsible” for the decision to fly a 45-year-old helicopter to carry Raisi in poor weather conditions.
