In a conversation with Sputnik Armenia, Archbishop Arshak Khachatryan commented on Armenian National Assembly President Alen Simonyan’s statement, where he said that “the Church does not pay taxes”.
“If one cannot think before he speaks, then he should try to think after it. Even then, it would not be difficult to find out that the statements about the Church not paying taxes are, to put it mildly, lies,” Archbishop Arshak Khachatryan said.
