Germany stands for the region’s political and economic diversification: German foreign minister to arrive in Yerevan
German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock will arrive in
Armenia today, the German Embassy in Yerevan reports.
Within her visit, she will meet with Nikol Pashinyan and
Ararat Mirzoyan. She will visit the office of the EU Mission in Armenia and the
reception center for refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh.
“Germany stands for lasting peace, the region’s political
and economic diversification, good and close relations with Europe. Building up
trust and bringing about reconciliation in the region is of great importance.
The prime goal is to achieve a comprehensive and peaceful solution through
negotiations, so that Armenians and Azerbaijanis can live in peace and security
within their national borders. We support the quick resumption of the
tripartite talks mediated by President of the European Council Charles Michel,”
reads the press release issued by the embassy.
