The court of Baku considered the appeal against the extension of the pre-trial detention term imposed on former State Minister of Artsakh Ruben Vardanyan, the Azerbaijani media reports.
The decision was read out during the trial at the Baku Court of Appeal.
According to the decision, the appeal has been rejected.
To remind, on May 16, the court of Baku extended the term of Vardanyan’s pre-trial detention for five months. Advocates consider the extension of the detention term illegal and groundless.
